The Ten of Swords The Ten of Swords depicts a person's or a situation's lowest point, or rock bottom. It can also mean that a person is feeling like a victim or a martyr, and may need to take control over their situation. Much like the Death card in the Major Arcana, there is a necessity for something to end, in order to give way to change and new beginnings. The card portrays a woman, stricken by ten swords, face down and bloody in the snow. Although this card may seem bleak, it is actually a ray of hope that the situation cannot get any worse than it currently is. It can only improve. The clouds in the dark sky are parting to give way to the sunlight once again. |
